Going places
Thud, closing a once open door.
Emptiness ahead, in need of shove.
Patterns, amorphous, painting the ultimate floor.
Spring in step toward ceiling above.

Four moments, one stanza
A Senanis Quatrain brings four six-word Senanis Moments into a single stanza. Alternating end rhymes connect the lines as each moment offers its own image or turn.

A Fall Day
Feathered icebergs gently turning while asleep.
Tree’s complexion marching toward dusk’s red.
Leaves falling, finding one to keep.
Only bright blue above my head.
